Artist Bio

Hailing from Gujarat, Darshil (b.1986) is an accomplished architect, a profession that shaped his understanding of the correlation between cultures, design principles, and people.

Right after graduating in 2008, he went through a life-rewarding experience in the following year. Darshil practiced 10 days of Vipassana meditation and this spiritual encounter made him fathom the critical and unavoidable connection of the universe with beings and nature.

Even though it was meant to be a simple gratifying spiritual path he was exploring, this process resulted in introspection and self-awareness. With the desire and passion to explore “life”, he started traveling around India. He’s spent a decade discovering philosophies, cultures, and regions leading to a strong realization of the prominence of art in his life.

Since 2014, Darshil has been using pen on paper as a medium to cultivate geometric form, lines, and shapes to ignite the strength for self-discovery, optimism, and contentment.

He has successfully created over 360 works as a part of 18 series. Currently, he lives and works from Goa.
